Big Sis CIC
Description
Pre-puberty is a crucial time in a young persons’ life that needs to be supported!
BIG SIS is a South-West based social enterprise supporting young girl’s and non-binary children’s mental health so they have tools and support to have great relationships with themselves and others.
We do that through offering arts-based inclusive workshops and lessons in schools, youth centres and the community that build confidence and self-esteem. Workshop themes include: body image, social media literacy, puberty changes, feelings and emotions, gender equality, boundaries, bodily autonomy and consent, etc.
We offer PSHE and RSE lessons to Primary and Secondary schools and upskill girls immediate support networks: parents, carers, youth leaders and teachers to offer improved quality of care.
Current offers include: Girle Mentoring Programme and Confidence Club- a Saturday club for girls 9-12.
