SPECTRUM TAILORED TECHNOLOGIES LTD are developing a digital platform to support autistic children and their carers / parents in everyday life – helping with things like getting dressed, packing a school bag, tidying up and cleaning teeth.

Our company has been created from my lived experience of having an autistic child and the everyday challenges we face. My son and other autistic children as well as their carers and key stakeholders from health and education have supported the design and development of a prototype app. Currently we are undertaking further co-development and evaluation work and seeking further funding.

I am a chartered Physiotherapist and am currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Plymouth which is exploring technology use in everyday life. I have 18+ years experience working in Health Services, in clinical, governance, research and service improvement roles.
