Power in Partnership: Elevating the West Country’s Women

The West Country’s business landscape is being transformed by a strategic alliance dedicated to female leadership. By merging high-scale networking with personal empowerment, these partnerships provide the financial tools and advocacy needed for women across the South West to thrive as regional innovators.

This movement centers on “heart-led” connection. Groups like Devon Women in Business and Sisters & Sequins replace stiff corporate networking with authentic support to tackle professional isolation. These spaces empower women to lead with confidence, balancing mental wellbeing with commercial achievement.

This ecosystem also drives growth through the Ladies Investing Club and Four Front Events. By demystifying wealth and providing a premier platform at Westpoint Arena, these initiatives close the gender investment gap. Together, they ensure financial independence and strategic networking form the bedrock of a prosperous West Country.

Our Partnerships

Four Front Events

Four Front Events is a South West-based event management specialist dedicated to creating seamless, high-impact experiences that prioritise integrity and genuine connection. With over a decade of expertise in delivering regional and national showcases, the team focuses on bridging the gap between businesses of all sizes—from ambitious start-ups to large corporations—within an inclusive and engaging environment. Beyond managing their own flagship portfolio, Four Front Events provides expert corporate services, ensuring every conference and brand activation is handled with precision and a results-driven approach. By carefully curating exhibitors and attendees to ensure meaningful professional relationships, they serve as a vital catalyst for regional business development and a trusted partner in the West Country’s professional ecosystem.

Devon Women in Business

DWIB is a dynamic, supportive community led by Louise Jenner and Maureen Townsend, dedicated to championing female entrepreneurs and professionals across the county through a philosophy of “collaboration over competition.” By offering accessible membership tiers—starting at just £5 per month—and hosting high-impact events like the prestigious DWIB Awards at Sandy Park, the organization provides a vital platform for women to gain visibility, build authentic professional relationships, and celebrate their commercial successes. Whether through their “Simply Networking” sessions in Bideford and Torquay or their commitment to the 2026 Charity of the Year, Memory Matters, DWIB ensures that Devon’s female business leaders have the strategic resources and heart-led encouragement they need to thrive in the regional economy.

Ladies Investing Club

The Ladies Investing Club is a high-impact financial empowerment community founded by Steph and Lucy, two former military professionals (a GP and a Navy veteran) who transitioned from the “rat race” to financial independence. Moving away from the traditional culture of mere penny-pinching, the club focuses on wealth acceleration through strategic investing, property development, and the power of compound interest. The club was born out of a desire to disrupt the male-dominated finance world, creating a “jargon-free” and intimidating-free zone where ambitious women can talk openly about money.

Sisters & Sequins

A vibrant beacon for women across the West Country, redefining what it means to connect in a professional and personal capacity. Founded by Katie Arscott, the community is built on the belief that “connection is the antidote to isolation,” specifically catering to female entrepreneurs, leaders, and creatives who crave more than just a standard networking event. By hosting high-energy gatherings—ranging from “Sparkle and Strategy” sessions to their signature Ladies’ Night Out events in Exeter—the group creates a unique environment where business talk blends seamlessly with genuine emotional support. For many women in the region, Sisters & Sequins provides the essential “joy-fuel” that prevents burnout, fostering a culture of radical encouragement where women are emboldened to show up as their most authentic, glitter-clad selves while simultaneously scaling their businesses and supporting the local economy.
